Kathak in la la Lucknow

Yesterday, some of us went to a fabulous kathak performance at the Sangeet Natak Academy. Rukmini didi is my kathak teacher's senior student. She's so beautiful and confident. I love seeing independent women pursuing their passions. Rukmini didi also anchors for Doordharshan so I'm going to go check out a live taping next week! I leave for Bombay and Kacch tonight and will be back in LKO in early March.
